The Twist&Lock feeding fence is one of the most user-friendly feeding fences available. The feeding fence can be set to capture or release with a central lever. Individual cows can be held or released by using a button. All control components are integrated into the upper profile, making them quiet and keeping them dirt free.
This feeding fence comes in a safety version by default, allowing cows to free themselves from the feeding fence if they were to slip and fall.
The “default” width of 65 cm per cow is gradually being replaced by larger sizes. The Royal de Boer assortment features plenty of those.
A feeding curb behind the feeding fence, an elevation that allows the cow to move off the manure alley, is a trend from Southern Germany. The feeding curb offers extra relaxation during feeding, and allows the manure scraper or scraper robot to do its job in peace, without disturbing the cows. In order to prevent the cows from standing at an angle and dirtying the feeding curb, a partition is placed between pairs of feeding places.
Like for the B3130 cubicle, Royal the Boer offers a flexible partition for this product. This partition is significantly more cow friendly and does not obstruct the view from the feeding alley. Combined with the feeding curb and flexible bracket, the Twist&Lock feeding fence is a highly animal-friendly concept.
