SafetyFlex – An Upgrade to the Proven B3130 Cubicle
From February 2nd, Royal de Boer will introduce SafetyFlex, an upgraded evolution of the well-established B3130 cubicle system. Developed as part of Royal de Boer’s continuous product development, SafetyFlex builds on a trusted design while adding greater flexibility to meet the demands of modern dairy housing.

What is SafetyFlex?
SafetyFlex is the next stage in the B3130 product line. It retains the proven performance, comfort, and reliability customers already know, while introducing added adaptability to support a wider range of herd types, housing layouts, and management preferences.
The SafetyFlex name reflects the core principles of the product: safety, flexibility, and consistent cow comfort.
Key Product Enhancements
- An adjustable neck bar height allows greater freedom during installation and setup, making it easier to optimise the cubicle for different cow sizes and farming systems. Please note the updated neck bar holder (5510-3350-250) is not interchangeable with the current post (5510-3350-014)
- The existing neck bar holder (5510-3350-075) can be installed on new post (5510-3350-015)
- The updated foot design aligns with Royal de Boer’s latest manufacturing processes, supporting consistent quality and long-term production stability while maintaining familiar performance in use.
- The new SafetyFlex identity positions the product as a modern, future-ready solution and officially replaces the former B3130 designation. While the B3130 name will no longer be used, the product remains fully aligned with and built upon the proven B3130 design philosophy.
What Remains Unchanged
- SafetyFlex retains all of the core characteristics that have made the B3130 cubicle successful. Cow comfort, robustness, and field-proven performance remain unchanged, as do all existing features and benefits.
- The 5-year Royal de Boer warranty also remains unchanged, ensuring customers continue to receive the same long-term assurance and reliability they expect from the B3130 range.
- Pricing also remains unchanged, meaning customers gain additional flexibility and functionality at no extra cost.
Availability & Ordering
- SafetyFlex will be available from February 2nd and will become the standard specification from this date onward.
- Orders placed on or after 2nd of February will always be supplied as SafetyFlex (5510-3350-015 + 5510-3350-250)
Orders placed before 2nd of February will be handled as follows:
- Deliveries scheduled before March 30th will be supplied to the current specification (5510-3350-014 + 5510-3350-075)
- Deliveries scheduled after March 30th will be upgraded to the SafetyFlex free of charge (5510-3350-015 + 5510-3350-250)
This phased approach ensures continuity for existing projects while enabling a smooth and controlled transition to the upgraded SafetyFlex specification.
Dealers are encouraged to consider delivery timing when placing orders during the transition period.
