BirthCare Box
To easily catch a cow in the straw bedded pen just before treatment or before calving, the BirthCare Box was developed. The BirthCare Box consists of a catch gate and a folding turnstile. Three versions are available. Below is the operation of the catchbox and a video showing how it works.

Operation of the BirthCare Box
Using the folding turnstile, the cow is guided to the BirthCare Box. Once the cow sticks her head through the BirthCare Box, the catch bar can be closed and locked manually via a cable. Closing the rear with a chain further locks the cow in place.

Versions
The catch bar of the BirthCare Box is adjustable so that the neck opening can be adjusted to the type of cow (between 140 and 320 mm in increments). This makes the catcher box suitable for different cow breeds.
The center tube in the folding turnstile is removable, which facilitates a possible cesarean section. To prevent a cow from lying down in the catch pen, two belly straps are available as an option to support the animal. This allows safe working without the cow experiencing too much stress.
There are three versions available with 2.5" stand posts: on the floor, on the work floor and without foot plate poured into the floor.
