LIFTING FENCE FOR COW HANDLING AND SEPARATION
The Royal de Boer lifting fence allows you to create the ultimate cow handling and separation layout in your barn. The lifting fence can be used in locations with frequent cattle traffic, near feeding aisles and in the walking routes to the milking parlour. Compared to rotary gates, the lifting gate offers the advantage that the animals are barely ever in the way when you try to open or close it. This makes separating groups of cows even easier.

Electric lifting fence
The electric lifting fence is available with a remote control, allowing you to easily open the fence right in front of the cow that needs to be captured. The fence uses a photo sensor to make sure no cows or people are present below the fence when it closes. This way, accidents are prevented.
Varieties without a remote control come with a Hold-to-Run button, which needs to be pressed down during operation.
The lifting fence is available in a variety with two horizontal tubes with a maximum passage height of 240 cm or 380 cm or with three horizontal tubes with a maximum passage height of 210 cm or 350 cm. The width of either variety can be adjusted in stages of one metre, starting at a length of 230 cm to a maximum width of 600 cm.

Manual lifting fence
The manual lifting fence can be opened and closed by pushing the fence up and down. The fence is perfectly balanced, which means operating it is very easy. It can also be secured in any desired position at a height set by you, the user.
The lifting fence is available in a variety with two horizontal tubes with a maximum passage height of 240 cm or with three horizontal tubes with a maximum passage height of 210 cm.

Lifting fence for temporary holding area
The lifting fence is also an effective way of creating a temporary holding area for a milking robot. If electrically-powered, the fence can be opened and closed again using a remote control after the cow that needs to be captured has passed. The cows that need to be milked can be captured easily, and the robot can be made accessible again once these cows have been milked without impeding the cattle traffic in the barn. Once the cow has been milked, the lifting fence is simply lifted again.
